Or Tikvah formed to serve the needs of the growing Jewish population in northern Lake County, including Gurnee, Lindenhurst, Grayslake, Mundelein, and surrounding areas.

Our religious services are held in our synagogue,
330 Barron Boulevard, Grayslake.

As a community synagogue we have a special mission to fulfill in meeting the religious, spiritual, and educational needs of a diverse membership. Our members come from all backgrounds of Judaism, and we pray, work and study together while respecting individual needs and philosophies.

We are sensitive to the fact that many of our members may not be familiar with the background and reasons for some of the rituals and prayers we perform during services. For this reason, we endeavor to inform, educate, and obtain the participation of all congregants.
 
MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to provide a strong Jewish presence in our community by offering each person an opportunity to learn and explore his/her relationship with G-d and each other.

PRAYER SERVICES
Friday Evenings 7:30 p.m. ;
Saturday Mornings 9:00 a.m. ;
Tot Shabbat - the additional special service for the very young -
 is held one Friday at 6:30 p.m. and one Saturday at 10:30 a.m. each month;
Holidays - Other holidays and commemorations are observed
